Marlon currently serves as the Department Director of Evangelization and Catechesis for the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth.

My professional catechetical background spans over twenty years having served as a Parish Director of Religious Education for the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, Diocesan Director of Religious Education and Apologetics for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic High School Principal and Chair of Catechesis for the Catholic Diocese of Memphis, and Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.

Published works include my first book entitled: Screwtape Teaches the Faith a work paralleling C.S. Lewis’ Screwtape Letters with the Catechism of the Catholic Church published by Saint Benedict Press (2011) and Contributor to: Man Up:How To Become A New Catholic Renaissance Man published by Bezalel Books (2014).

I serve as a columnist for Catholiclane.com and a contributing writer for Catholicexchange.com and “The Sower International Catechetical Journal and Catholicmom.com

Education: I attended Franciscan University of Steubenville earning undergraduate degrees in Theology and Mental Health and Human services and a Master Degree in Theology with a Concentration in Catechetics. I attended the University of Saint Mary and earned a Masters in Educational Administration and Curriculum.Television and radio credits include: EWTN Live with Fr. Mitch Pacwa discussing his book Screwtape Teaches the Faith and frequent EWTN Radio guest appearances on the Sonrise Morning Show with Brian Patrick, Al Kresta Live with Al Kresta, Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo, and the Guadalupe Radio Network with Dave Palmer.

Most important of all my family is my primary catechetical ministry! I’ve been happily married to my wife Amy for over twenty years and am blessed with four wonderful children Miguel, Gabriella, Maria and Gianna.
