This is a defense of our Catholic faith that is taking place on our Catholic Brothers For Christ Youtube account where we posted the videos from the 2015 North Texas Catholic Men’s Conference. Father Larry Richards’ “Be A Man” video seems to be causing quite a bit of controversy.

no, of course not. just don’t expect your prayers to achieve results. if you wish to achieve your goal of convincing me there is a god, you are going to have to work harder than that. you are going to have to provide me with evidence. sorry, but god gave me a very skeptical brain that has much higher standards for what it will accept as evidence. is god going to send me to hell because of the brain he gave me? 😉 that would make him unjust.

Thank you for allowing me to pray for you. I have been praying for you every day since we entered into this conversation a couple weeks ago.
That’s the amazing thing about prayer and God. Fervent prayers by a dedicated Prayer Warrior are powerful.
God is all powerful and can give you the grace to repent of your sins, just like he did for me. I did not ask for it but he had mercy on my soul because of the prayers of my Mom and Dad. It required over 10 years of daily rosaries before God touched my soul with His healing powers.
I had reached rock bottom and saw suicide as my only option. It was in the greatest moment of darkness that the light given to me at Baptism and reinforced at Confirmation burst anew and burned away my sins.
Lets hope you don’t have to accept the gift of salvation as a last resort like me. I was so skeptical of everything and stubborn because of my brain power and strong ego, that it required a catastrophic event to get my attention.
Trust me that there is power in prayer, especially that of all the 60 Prayer Warriors I have enlisted in this battle for your soul.
